BAT has provided top flight training and competition for area youth for more than 30 years, and is a member club of USA Swimming, the national governing body of competitive swimming in the United States.

USA Swimming competition is based on age-groups and skill levels, ranging from the youngest age-group (8 and under) and skill level (novice) to membership on the U.S. Olympic Team.
